    Description Poly(3-alkylthiophene)s exhibit thermo- and solvatochromism. Regiorandom poly(3-octylthiophene) shows relatively weak red PL in dilute solution. The emission is largely quenched in concentrated solutions and solid thin films.1:1 (head-to-head):(head-to-tail) linkages of regioisomers.
